LIFE'S A WASTE

When I first opened my eyes
T'was the onset of life
sunset was too far
I could not see her
Pleasure and fun all day long
So this was going to end
I've not done anything yet
Dusk came unnoticed
Sunset came too early
Just a little more time
I'll do something
But where's the strength and vigour
Life is a waste
